I was in a local camera shop yesterday and came across the Z7ii.

They had received 10 of them early.  The body's were already spoken for but they had 3 kits available.

Within a couple of hours the kits were gone.

Sometimes it's about being at the right place at the right time. 

People simply were not expecting it until the 14th.

Their Nikon Rep noted that after the first wave, they expect them to be hard to get for about a calendar quarter or more.

 

My Really right stuff L bracket mounted right up and it's ready to go.  Just have set-up etc and some reading.

The new 900 second shutter limit wasn't what I expected (manual mode only and 30 second/1 min increments) but still have some reading to do.
