Nope, some of them play year round...so long as the snow isn't too deep! Seriously, a little snow doesn't hamper them, nor does cold weather. Kinda reminds me of the movie, ''Caddy Shack'' when Bill Murry takes the old man out in a thunder storm and he gets zapped by lightning, (he died with a smile!).

I don't play golf — the game has very little appeal to me — but
I like the great set up of golf courses.
