Hello everyone,

I hope this is okay to post here. I'm in search of at least one working sb-28 flash. I know these aren't the most overly available flashes out there but I need 1-2 more for a wildlife camera-trap setup. Prices have gotten a little outrageous (I think) on eBay and other selling sites. So, if you or anyone you know is up for parting ways with their old flashes, it would be greatly appreciated if you could respond back.

Thanks,

Griffin.

Why do you need the SB-28? What makes it desirable for your use?

The time it takes for the flash to wake up once it receives the signal from the transmitter is very fast compared to other flashes. Also the battery life when using it in stand-by mode is better as compared to other flashes.

John,

If you have a functioning one, I would definitely be interested!

Griffin.

I found a SB-28DX in my "collection." It is one I used in the early digital days. It has the pouch, box, instructions and is in very nice cosmetic condition. I have put batteries in it and it seems to work well. I'll give you a ten day return privilege to make it sure it meets your needs and expectations. My guess is that $50 is a reasonable price plus whatever it costs to ship it to you. I see you are in the US so it won't be any more than $10 for regular USPS.
