New to the forum. Just overnight my Nikon d750 just stopped showing through my external monitor. Steps I took:

1. checked all camera settings. They are fine.

2. Checked external monitor. Fine. I have two and both work fine.

3. Camera did not fall. It still works fine. Video is captured as are photos.

4. Checked all wires. Fine.

One tech person told me to remove battery, hold down shutter and then try again. No change.

Any ideas or suggestions welcome before I have to ship it to NY for repair. No camera repair places near me in Florida.

Thanks in advance.

If holding down the shutter button does not work then you have to check the ports of your camera. If the wires are okay then there must be a port problem. I hope the ports are okay because changing the ports would make you open up your whole camera and that is the worst thing to do. So double check every thing and then also use different wires to check.
