NIKON WEBCAM Utility, works for all NIKONs Except the D5300-WHY?

Why would Nikon, create the needed WEBCAM App, for almost all of their Camera's but NOT for the D5300?  NIKON made it for the D5200 and the D5500 but not the D5300.  What is up with that?  We need that app for the D5300.  Thank you.

I am guessing that there is or is not something included in the D5300 that differs from those that work correctly. Actually I just looked it up on Nikon's site and it indicates the following:

 

* Supported digital cameras: Z 7, Z 6, Z 5, Z 50, D6, D850, D780, D500, D7500, and D5600.

 

So it looks like none of the bodies you mentioned will work for what you want to do.  It appears that only very recent camera bodies have the necessary "pieces" in place to support the requirements.  In addition the Nikon Webcam Utility seems to be beta software.  That might be part of the reason the list of supported cameras is limited...
