Very good work by all!  I'm pretty much chained to my shop here doing work for other shops so I don't even do much interacting or anything else, other than work.

A special thanks to Peter and Bengan for showing me what a wonderfully beautiful country Sweden is!  Peter, do you think we could see your two street food vendor night shots in B&W?  To me those two plead for monochrome processing.

These two reprocessed shots from November 11 are processed in the old version of Silver Efex Pro with Panatomic X film emulation, yellow filter, a yellowish paper hue and selenium toning.

In the odd event that there are one or two out there who don't understand Swedish, I will give a rough translation. The sign reads: Daycare center "Paviljongen" Entrance.

I can understand how the kids get in, but their parents are obviously locked out

I shot these earlier this month and had to check my histogram for focal length, they're 50mm, (Nikkor 24-120mm f4 G ED) although I cropped the B&W a bit.

AoV and not focal length is meant here?

The sensor in the D-Lux 7 is 4/3-format. X2 plus a little to compensate for the 4:3 aspect ratio crop makes the equivalence similar to the x1.5 DX crop.

Love the B&W street scene, Peter!  I suspect the little D-Lux will be a constant companion, as they look like they would easily slip into a jacket pocket and not be noticed much, (bulk or weight).

A nice, handmade boot jack in the artisan's moose theme.

It's a while until Base Ball season opens again, the glove and ball reside in my library on a shelf where I see them every day.  They belonged to a neighbor and friend of mine who passed away ten years ago.  His high school graduating class of 1937 gave him the ball. as near as I can tell, the glove is from the pre WWII era also.  He played ball for His college and the Army team until winning an all expense paid tour of Europe 1944-1946, he might have gone pro had it not been for the war.

I think the B&W photo befits them best.

Peter, I think the Christmas decorations are fine and fitting.  It's the lack of people in the mall that seems strange to me.

N-S, in a couple of weeks I'll have to remember to get some street shots of a small, ''Mayberry'' type town a few miles up river.  They usually do a very tasteful job with decorating the main street for Christmas, (of course the entire town's main street is only about three blocks long...).

This side street is more humble but I try to get the main square!

Yes, the lack of people is strange, but so is the foot operated hand cleanser dispenser that has replaced three of the four flower urns around the pillar.
