D90 images all look like they have a haze to them

Good Morning,

I picked up a used D90 and when taking photos, no matter the mode, they all look like they have a fog or haze on them. is there some setting for exposure or elsewhere I need to change so I see more of the colors, contrast, etc. I see in real life? Thanks.
