Hi Everyone,
I have a Nikon FA that I bought new back in the 80's. I retired it in the 90's and removed the batteries and stored it in my dresser drawer. I sold it a few weeks ago and it was returned because it no longer worked. I installed new batteries and I can not cock the shutter. The release button is free and goes up and down freely but the advance lever is stuck. Also when I look through the lens it is very dark. I can see through it but it is dark. Any ideas what is wrong with it ? It worked fine when I stored it and I am wondering if the person I sold it to messed something up.
