Used to have D5300 which I used with combineZp no problem. I now have D800 and it's jpeg files seem to have problem with CombineZP. I can get it to work sometimes if I put the jpeg into fastone and save it back as a jpeg.  I have reistalled CombineZp from scratch, did not work. Sometimes if I only stack three pics at a time it will work. The frimware on the D800 is A1.11, B1.11, L2.018. Is there a problem with the jpeg filing system on D800, if so is there a fix?

Might it be that CombineZP has problems with the file size when stacking the large D800 files?

Does it work if you set the camera to a higher compression setting?

I have never heard of any Nikon not being jpeg standards compliant.

Tried different compression rates. Tried highest rate, did not work. This looses quality. Will just have to confine to doing three pics at a time. Not much fun if stacking lots of pics. Tried other stacking programs but none as good as Combine, athough some do work.
