I had to do a job that was pretty much against my environment principles.
Most neighbours said the same thing sighing, dropping their arms down.
"How could anyone built something so ugly in our countryside… disfiguring
the whole hill top?"
All the properties around are very old but well maintained traditional country
houses with colourful gardens and growing families.
How could anyone?

Why didn't you refuse the job if you feel that strongly about it being at odds with your principles?
Ironic, what money can do.

Ironic, what money can do.
There was a dilemma for sure but…
- I was not aware of that construction project
- I would have fought before the first shovel
- I am very seriously affected by the pandemic consequences
Refusing the job once the building is standing would not change any-
thing and, like you, I have to make a living in these hard times.
Yes, ironic what money can do… or lack of it!
