For sure not a big spider but I never saw this before… got any idea?

I can't recall seeing anything like that before. Is there a crack there? I know they'll spin their webs at cracks and anywhere air flows through, (a good way to check your insulation in your house).
At any rate, that's a great photo, clean and sharp with tiny details of something I never remember seeing before.

… and I don't know. So I went and googled to see 100s+ pict
of eggs, clusters and nests and even that very spider but none
similar to mine… is it so unique?

I don't know, all the spider nests I've seen are spun into little cocoons, but that would make a perfect defense for a cocoon...
Maybe spider art!
