Really nice and a unique capture. Reminds me just how lucky we have it with digital cameras in regards to noise level. 1600 ISO now-a-days would look perfectly clean compared to a shot like this. Bravo!

Nesser, I agree about the detail.  It just worked out that way on this one.  As a civil engineer, or more specifically a hydraulic engineer, I can say the following.  The water was exactly the correct depth to create, more or less, standing waves, not exactly but almost.  Thus, some of the detail was enhanced.

 

I agree, most of my pinholes are much fuzzier.
