Hi, my D800 has gone bad for me. Suddenly, the menu on the picture attached pops up in the display every time I turn the camera on. I can make changes in both of these menues, but that's all. I can't get into the menu of the camera, and I can't watch the saved pictures on the SD-card. I can release the trigger, and a picture is taken, and shows in the display on the back, but then everything freezes. It's not possible to change the settings regarding ISO etc. I've taken battery and SD-card out several times, but no change.

Could there be a quick-fix or is it a hardware problem?

Have you tried a hard reset to factory settings pal?

Hold down the QUAL button on top left side and + - bracket button on top right side at the same time for a few seconds. Camera should turn off briefly and then restart with factory settings. control panel turns off briefly T button while settings are reset.

Might the EC button, marked +- be stuck? If it is pressed down, you are in a mode to set the exposure compensation and nothing else.

Yes, I forgot to say that. I've tried a hard reset, no change at all. Camera did not turn off.
