I have a d810. It has a 150-600 tamron mounted. Camera works fine. When trying to remove lens it will rotate to almost the release point then seems to hit something solid.

Any suggestions?

Hi, we use a lot of D800/810/850 at work with 105 and 60mm lenses. Over the last year, 3 of the 105mm lenses have got stuck due to a little screw coming loose and working its way partly out on the lens mount (perpendicular to the lens axis).

Two of them, my manager was able to Remove with a bit of force and a bit of a giggle. The 3rd had to be sent back to Nikon and I heard the body had to be dismantled so the lens can be removed from the inside.

Not much of a solution, I know. Just a possibility to consider.
