I've owned a reconditioned D750 for the past 3 years and have taken thousands of night sky images that I have been delighted with.

Sadly it is currently headed to Nikon for assessment following the dreaded ERR code.

Depending on their findings, I may consider something newer.

I don't follow new releases, if I have something that I like that works I am very much a 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it' guy.

So with Astrophotography as my main subject and with a budget of around £1500, what are the options that have taken what the D750 has to a higher level?

Thank you in advance.
