I tried for the first time to connect my wife's Coolpix S7000 to our home network via wi-fi. My computer has wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n and bluetooth. The manual only refers to "smart device". Using wireless to connect would be a convenience, especially considering Nikon uses different USB connectors for different cameras. Any suggestions?

The Wifi only works under Android or iOS using the correct app for your camera.

If you want to avoid the different USB connectors, get a card reader or use the one in your computer if it has one.

Using any wireless connection will be slower than the card can deliver.
