I was in a class and we were taking pictures (all Nikon cameras) and I was constantly having to up my ISO higher than others to get similiar shutter speeds keeping the f the same. The instructor is concerned that there is something wrong with my camera. Any ideas? Anything I can do to remedy this without sending it in? Thank you!!!

I was told that on a Nikon D3100 that once it reaches the shutter life that the camera was no longer any good. I was using my camera and the next thing I know in the S mode the dial won't turn pass 1/200. Any help with this would really be appreciated. Thanks
