I recently bought a Nikon d3300 camera and this camera lens, the DX SWM ED infinity-0.95m/3.12ft o 52, was included along with a 18-55mm camera lens. However, I do not know what the DX SWM lens is used for. I have searched Google, and I cannot find an explanation to what kind of pictures this lens would take. I would greatly appreciate it if someone can help me out.

A DX lens with a close focus of 0,95 m can only be the 55-200 non-VR AFAIK. If you read what's printed in gold on the top side of the lens when it is mounted, you will find more useful information than on the bezel around the front element.
Edit:
Sorry about the snark... the kit lenses seem to have had this specification line printed on the bottom in white.
The 55-200 and the 18-55 was a very common twin-lens kit with the D3300. The 55-200 is a quite useful tele zoom.
