Hi, I'm having an issue with watercolor-like edges with some of my shots. It tends to happen more often when shooting in a field or area without much contrast between the subject and background.  Am I just expecting too much when shooting a faraway subject?  Has anyone had this happen before?

Is it a crop as my first thought is the effect the cropping/ enlarging  is having on the out of focus areas

It is not just the edges, the whole image is over-sharpen. Dial sharpening back and see how this affects the image.
