With Monday, May 25 being Memorial Day here in the states I thought it proper I stop by the grave of a man who meant a lot to me growing up, Robert T. Colemen.  "Bob" mentored a lot of young folks through the years as both a Scout Master and a Sunday school teacher.  I knew Bob served in the Marines during WWII, but I never knew until after his death he served as a Sgt. in the elite 1st. Marine Raider Battalion, (Edson's Raiders) in the Solomon Islands against the Japanese.  Bob still is quite the hero in my mind.

I took the photo of Bob's grave yesterday while out and about with my D700.
