I would like to get pictures of the courthouse down in Goliad.    There is a historical marker in front of the "Hanging Tree" which is a tree that they used to hang convicted murderers and cattle thieves from.  The tree is still there (and it is huge), and there is a cafe across the street from the courthouse which is called The Hanging Tree.  The architectural style of the courthouse in Goliad is very similar to the courthouse in your photograph in the OP.

The missions in/around Goliad are really cool too.

On my list.  (Which I don't think I'll ever complete.)  I love the wide variety of styles in the old courthouses.  And the old theaters.  And missions and churches.  And rail depots.  And...  :D

Nice shot.

The slight angle on on side of the building doesn't bother me, and niether does the shadow on that side, however I am a little bothered by the sky.

The sky needs a bit of cloud to take away the blue boredom, but having said that, I also have to say that the upper peak of the building needs more sky, as the image seems as though it has been cropped too close.

Of course, I understand that a person can't hang around all day waiting for a few clouds to fload into the scene, it's just my personal feeling that a full blue sky bores the hell out of me, so the only real criticism I can give to you is to allow more "sky-area" at the top of your photo in this particular case.

Nice shot Gordo.  I would recommend a bit looser crop so that the top of the building does not appear right up against the top of the photo.
