Hello! My D 850 switches from Live View to VF mode on its own after being left idle for ~10 minutes or so. How can I prevent it from happening? Is this a battery saving function of some sort which I don't know about? I have it posed outside pointed at birds and control it remotely. The sound of the shutter in VF model scares them away (its in Live View quiet mode). Please help.

Is your setting for custom function C4 still at the default setting? I think you can set this to No limit to keep LV active.
