I have an AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm 1:2.8 GII ED lens that is stuck at 5.6 problem. I love this lens, but am tired of "working around" this problem. I have other 2.8 lenses that operate fine through the f-stops on my D810. I'm looking for ideas about the possible problem and if I need to send it in to Nikon to get it fixed or is there an authorized service center I could use. Thanks.

The lens is a G, VR II. The thing with G lenses is that the aperture
can only be set from the body so maybe the "L" lock button is on
at the back of your camera.
This is so funny, it happened to me too — if that is the case — and
that really puzzled me the first time.

Nikon Shooter,
That is a good thing to remember for future situations, but that is not what is happening here. As I stated my other 2.8 GII lens is working through the f-stops fine.
