I knew I shouldn't have but I did.

I updated my Mac OS to Catalina 10.15.4 and now my Capture NX2 won't open. I need that app, any suggestions.

Thanks!

Why do you need NX2?

NX-D has matured nicely and is quite useful these days.

It's what I paid for years ago and I love it, I have a feeling I'm going to have to re-buy another Capture app, that's not right. I was perfectly happy with my NX2 app

Besides, it appears NX-D is for RAW images

NX-D is free and handles jpg, even if it is primarily a raw converter.

ok, I downloaded the app and then screwed up, it asked permission to view photo's on desktop, documents and downloads and I said no, how can I reverse that? I went to preferences and even uninstalled and reinstalled and they're still locked

I got it! I unlocked those folders and I thank you sir!

BTW, I think the reason why NX-2 doesn't work on your Mac is possibly because it's a 32bit application. In their latest OS, Apple only supports 64bit applications, if I remember correctly.
