Hi

I am new to tthe forum, I am a freelance web designer by day and a keen amateur photographer for the rest of the time. Currently I shoot with the Z6 and some older F-mount glass. Looking to improve my photography skills during the UK lockdown.

Welcome. The mention of Henley-on-Thames triggered some pleasant memories. In 1965, the year before I graduated from Northeastern University, Mr. Ernie Arlett left his position as the rowing coach at Harvard University to lead the university's rowing team in its first season of competition. Against all expectations, the team was successful and was invited to Henley to compete in the Thames Challenge Cup. After defeating Queen's University of Belfast, they were eventually eliminated by Cornell University. The team has returned to Henley to compete on multiple occasions since then but that first opportunity is still the one that resonates.
