The bridge spans Fyris River in central Uppsala and is only open to pedestrians and cyclists.

You have really captured the stillness of a cold evening with this image, but I find the hand rail at the fron a little bit distracting. I feel cold looking at the photograph and will go and put a pullover on.

The last rays of the setting sun are reflected off the river. You can see a bit of halation from the roofs as well. The phenomenon is not there in a picture taken 10 minutes later.

Great picture. It's got a nice Wintery feel to it. I love the effects on the lights too.

Have  you tried HDR?  This would bring out the sky more clearly and not have that darkness.  Nice view.

It *is* a HDR, but tonemapped to preserve the cold light of dusk. It is taken about 20 minutes after sunset.
