Hi! I just upgraded my D3200 to D7500 and I've realized some problems that I have never seen before.

The biggest one is after I import all the pictures in photo app (Mac) in jped, many images seem like not been correctly taken with partially greyed area. I have been taken pictures the same way with Manual. And the pictures looked fine on the camera. I don't know why this happens. Please see attached

Another thing is that I noticed when I scrolled through pictures on the camera using the left and right button, sometimes images will freeze and the image still displays when I turn the camera off. The only way I found is to pop the battery out which is not a good idea.

I am unsure why this higher-end camera gives me so many troubles than my entry-level D3200. This is very frustrating. I will contact Nikon customer support during M-F. But could someone offer any suggestions? Thanks!

It's very difficult to troubleshoot with this short description and lack of examples.

The first thing I would check with the type of troubles you describe is the memory card. Format the card in camera and/or try a new one.

It sounds like you're shooting jpeg. Try a raw picture and download that to your computer.

You may also try a full reset of all settings.

If nothing of this works, how old is the camera? If it's still under warranty, contact the retailer and have them check it.

Thank you Bengan and mikew! I have bought a new memory card SanDisk Extreme and I just tested out. All the issues are gone! Thank you for your input and time!
