Hi!

I originally started in photography with a Nikon film camera which I loved.

When DSLR came out, I went with the Canon SL1 because it is small and I am petite, but now I want to step up, be more creative, and do more low light shooting.

The Z50 fit my hands just right and my too-quick demo of it yielded sharp photos and good color (although it did seem too saturated, but assuming that can be easily adjusted).

May I ask, if you own this camera:

Is it good for landscape? (I could not find much online), by that I mean, can shoot well in low light and overall you are happy with the results?

I like the high extended ISO range and would find that helpful.

I do wish it had focus stacking. Fuji X-T30 has it, but I am unsure on that camera; it has some complexities associated with it (in my hands!) and besides, maybe I will always have Nikon in my heart :)

I don't like to **have** to do post-editing of photos so hoping for out of camera jpegs that require no/minimal adjustments (but I do look forward to learning more editing techniques too)

Also, what lens do you recommend?

The 16-50 F3.5 kit lens sounds like a good range, but I would prefer F2.8 with vibration reduction with or without an adapter. Hoping for something used/new in the range up to $500.

Thank you so much and all the best!

Annie

you want ultra wide to wide angle lens. how much will you be shooting in low light settings too. that is kind to high for 50mm if need lower f/stop. that is great starter lens to have and have not tried i only used F mount kit lens 18-55 one or 24-70 kit lens for Z body's. so someone else will shine in. with your budget
