So, tonight we are having a bbq party and I am in charge to take lots of photos. There will be very low light and specially the light from fire. I do not want to use flash as it spoils the photo. I use Nikon D5300. Is there any suggestions that I need so that I can able to pull off some beautiful photos?.

Thanks a lot for your reply, I followed what you have said back then. The one problem that occurred is that the photo came out blurry. Only the one that I took with a very very stable hand got ok. So please suggest me an Iso with which I can take photo easily in low light. I know we all have to be very stable during a low light shot but I have a shaky hand and do not have a tri pod. So please help me out.

See to raise the ISO to 3400 maybe.
Without a tripod, use a wall, a post, or anything to stabilise
the camera and possibly turn on vibration reduction (VR)
