Got a Nikon P900 today and, whilst waiting had a little wander around the camera. Now that battery is up and running, I realise that i may have incidentally set some things in motion! The language is in Spanish! And I have missed the Set-up process completely! Please, please, can you offer any guidance / advice to this (elderly) person who’s already out of his depth.

Can the camera be set to ‘factory setting” - so that I can once again ‘start at the very beginning’? In the meantime I’ve put the camera back in it’s box so that I can’t do anything else wrong!

John

I don't own a P900 but as I understand it:

A "full" reset is done through a menu command unfortunately language is not reset. Start with the language. Press the Menu button. Go to the wrench symbol. Go in to that part of the menu and scroll down to language, select and scroll to English and press OK

Once this is done, in the same menu scroll down to Reset all and press OK.

Hope this helps

Nothing can be mastered in a minute!
The best strategy is the RFM approach in any cases!

Nah!! real men don't do manuals ( at least not until after we have well and truly exhausted all other options :P   )
