Hi All, I have 2 Nikon D3 bodies one missing the battery cover so went to a well known auction site and bought a replacement......It arrived but won't fit either body. My original fits both.

 

Question......Are there 2 versions of body/battery cover?

Perhaps a D3S cover?  I am not sure if the D3 and D3S have the same size cover.

I think the BL-4 is the correct cover for all three D3 versions. Are you sure that it is a BL-4 and not one of the similar covers for a D2 or the vertical grips?
