I have a D5600 with a Sigma 10-20 mm wide angle lens.  Now I know it needs a firmware upgrade to use autofocus, but manual focus works fine so I can live without the upgrade.  However, it won’t let me use the camera 2 second delay for the shutter release with this lens.  Do you know if this is something tied to the firmware on this lens?   I have no issues with the shutter delay on my other 3 lenses.  I have a wired remote but for the “one of” shots, I’d rather use the camera delay than plug in the remote.   Any insight on this is appreciated.

I had the same issue with a Sigma lens on my D5500.  I was told to download the latest version of Firmware and it should work.  It downloaded successfully, but didn't solve the issue.  I returned the Sigma and bought a Tamron.  The Tamron works great and I much prefer it to the Sigma.
