I down load my photos onto my computer, and just wondered why, when I pull them up on the computer screen, why they come up out of focus, but after a couple of seconds they come into focus. Just wondered if it is me, the camera, or the computer. Cheers

I am using Windows 10 platform

If the computer waited to show you the pictures only once
it got hold of them all. you'd see nothing until the end of it.

See this delay as a visual confirmation that it is working on it!

The "technical reason", jpeg stores coefficients used to recreate the image. These values reproduce the frequency content of the image. The low-frequency coefficients are read first, followed by the higher frequency to give the fine detail. When you compress an image, the higher frequencies are the first to be eliminated.

Thanks guys. Its not me then.

I thought it was because I was using a 4 point focus and only getting the one point in.

I have changed the settings now to a one point continuous focus. I will see how that works out, well unless you have any comments on this.

I am still experimenting guys. All help is welcome.
