Has anybody seen a comparison in image quality between the fixed Z lenses and the Z 24-70 2.8?

I am considering either the Z 24mm, Z 50mm and Z 85mm, OR the Z 24-70.

I would be interested to see the difference in sharpness between the fixed and zoom.

Thank you.

I know only the F mount and don't care much about the Z.

In F terms, I do own the zooms of the trinity and more plus
some primes… but they complement each other and do not
compete. My sons are often coming along on jobs and the
rule is the shooter in a fixed position gets choice priority of
the zooms.

No one in our family operation will prefer anything in terms of
sharpness — AF fine tune oblige.

My first thought is on the Z6 it will not matter but on the Z7 thats a different story.

And how would that story differ, Mike, if I may ask?

Never had or wanted a high MP camera but keep reading that they require the absolute best in lens IQ to get the best.

Yes, that is true but…
Aren't all new Z lenses capable to go on either Z bodies?

give tip have kit 24-70mm great lens and give better shoots then 50mm since your closer to sensor same if at 24mm if where to use my 12-24mm F/4 DX lens. since your closer to sensor get way better photos.
