Hi, been getting back into photography and looking to get some sort of flash for my camera. I don't know my stuff when it comes to models and I've been out of the game for a few years. Just wondering what sort of flash would be best for bounce and fill-in flash with lower lit environments. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I would recommend one of the Godox Ving family, either the 350 or the 860 if you want a stronger light. They work just as well as the Nikon Speedlights on-camera, but use rechargeable battery packs instead of loose dry cells. Off-camera, they are part of the Godox radio link system instead of having to arrange things within line-of-sight with the Nikon optical remote system. Being able to position your flash(es) off-axis relative to the lens makes it easier to get good flash photos.
