Hi i just got a d200 from an auction and theres a round 5 pin cord that is attached to the camera can not unplug it its located right next to the usb port does anyone know what it is for i cant find any info about it

It sounds like you're talking about an external release cable. If so, it doesn't pull out but has to be unscrewed.

I missed that thread. Never mind what I wrote... it looks like Peter is on top of this one.
I've never seen anything like this before but it seems that some company had a bunch of D200's modified for a specific purpose and now, because they're terribly obsolete, they're being dumped on the used camera market.
