how good are tiffen lens filters

do not make this why should or should not use. i only use them when i store my lenses or at beach with salt water or if windy out side chance to get dirt or when rains. only other time i have on if taking paintball pictures. how good are tiffen lens filters. just remark if filters good or not only

I suppose they still use aluminium rings? If so, it is just a matter of time before one gets stuck on a lens. I haven't bought a filter or a filter system adapter ring that doesn't have brass threads since the 90-s.

I use the various version ND… but only in studio
where the aluminium rings is not a problem.

Great optical quality and almost perfect neutrality.
