Nice Citroen. I can almost hear the European police sirens in the background.

The subject is a DS23 form I think 1976. The BG was adorn with

artefacts found in the Roman settlement of Flavia Solva.

Gotta love the DS Citroens. In many ways they were ahead of their time with innovations like headlights tracking with the steering and self-levelling pneumatic suspension. Like many Euro cars they were very expensive in Australia and finding parts, or even competent mechanics to fix them outside capital cities was a nightmare.

Gotta love the DS Citroens…

 

 

The presence of Citroën in Canada came to an abrupt end
when new prescriptions on bumpers — that made Volvo so
ugly — were refused on aerodynamic and style grounds by
Citroën that was quite popular at the time, like Saab.
