I recently upgraded from a D80 to a D5600 and also got a 150 - 600 telephoto lens for wildlife photography.  I find switching lens tedious and time consuming.  And the telephoto lens chews up battery life in the 5600.  I would like to buy a used lens body to use as a dedicate telephoto camera.  I'm thinking about a D7200 but wondering about other options.

First, welcome to the forums.

The D7200 is a very competent camera and a step up from the D5600. It will also give you the possibilty to fine tune AF.

As above the D7200 would fit the bill

I agree. The D7200 would be a good economical choice. But, beware... it's entirely possible that you may become so enamored of the D7200 that you begin to neglect your D5600. It happens.
