I missed shooting on Nov. 15, so I took a shot on the 16th, and warped back in time just enough to post this one.

There might be a little PP going on with this shot.

I like the shot although the flower appears to be slightly distorted, was this the effect you were looking for?

I'm sure the distortion is from using the 35mm lens up very close.  The rose itself is small (2.5cm wide).

Remember last time I said to wait and see what idiocy I had accomplished for the 15th? Well here it is in all its glory. I was at my in-laws' house and at the end of the evening realized I still needed to take a photo for the challenge. I asked if they had any heirlooms or other special things. This is what they came up with. The doll was brought home from the Pacific Theatre in WWII by my mother-in-law's uncle. Her grandmother crocheted the clothing for it. The car is a memento of my father-in-law's--he used to own a Medicine Shoppe.
