has anyone used this lens for video, if so what are the results like? i have a panasonic camcorder for taking vid, nit used my 7100 yet but would like to try with the 50mm

I have not got around to taking video with 7100 either so will be interested in results. Sounds pretty basic, but still working out the features of the camera, as to whether you can save video to one sd card and jpg or Raw to the other. Got a good handbook, but just need to find the time to sit down and work on it.

I know what you mean Tony, it's finding the time to read all the information available and putting it into practice. Not enough time in the day.
