Hello Everyone!

I'm having a bit of troubles and disappointment having just bought a z7. So far it's amazing. the picture quality is great, features are extensive and the z mount lenses are fantastic.

But there is one major problem I'm having with it.

one of the main things I shoot, are IBLs. Essentially full dome HDR panorama.

IBLs (image based lighting) are used in 3D vfx and CG for capturing the lighting data in an image for lighting your 3D scenes.

IBLs require a minimum of 12evs for accurate lighting information. it has to be 7 frames at 2 evs apart. or 12 at 1 ev apart. (5 frames of 3 does not work, because it causes banding in the exposure range)

However, disappointingly, the z7 does not support 7 frames at 2 evs apart for bracketing.

Pretty huge problem for me.

Is there a way to extend the bracketing capabilities of the z7? I know Canon has Magic Lantern, which works great to extend your Canon's capabilities, including it's bracketing range, but I can't find something similar for Nikon.

I also I want to avoid using external devices. It would be nice to do it directly from the firmware within the camera.

Let me know what you guys think. Thanks so much!
