Hi there,

Let me start off by saying I'm a canon shooter, but I've had a lot of experience with Nikon cameras as well. I recently had a client who was shooting on a Nikon d750. She was doing star trails with an intervalometer with her camera mounted on a sturdy tripod. When she uploaded her images to Lightroom the framing changed slightly. At first I thought the camera was bumped, but then I noticed that the framing actually changed back and forth on every other shot. I looked at the image numbers and they were in consecutive order. I've never seen anything like this happen before and it is driving me crazy trying to figure out what might have happened.

Has anyone seen or heard of an issue like this happening? She just got the camera and I'm curious if it's a possible defect. It is quite odd that the shift was constant between every other shot though.

I'd love to hear if anyone has any idea of what is happening.

Thanks so much!

- Mike
