Lucky you to find an answer to that, I couldn't.


Lately, I’ve listened to and been inspired by a couple of contemporary blues cats who incorporate both swing and bebop in their artistry. Kirk Fletcher and Josh Smith are both well worth a listen.

dc - my initials

bear - nickname (The Bear) from my hockey playing days when I was goalie who is pretty big, bigger again with all the pads on. Big goalies hadn't taken over the NHL at this point.
