hi

 

can't copy the firmware bin file strait to camera using cable , do not have a card reader for it

help please

nikon made to get firmware updates you need card reader. not sure why but way its for all camera brands.

You can't use the camera as a card reader as it does not have a mass storage mode. You need to either get a card reader or check with a camera or computer store if they can help you.
