Hello. New member with first post asking for help with photo downloads from camera to iPhone using wireless adapter. Following the Nikon instructions for connecting and pairing the WU-1A with the phone and ensuring a good connection between the two, I'll take 8 exposures (JPEG Fine), go to the Nikon WMU app, select the photos and proceed with the download. No matter how many photos I select (4 or all 8), the download proceeds and I'll lose the camera/phone connection before the entire download is complete. The phone is sitting next to the camera, the SD card is a 16 GB Duracell HDSC card. I have reset the wireless adapter and assigned it a password which I also enter when I select that particular network in the iPhone settings. No matter what I do, the downloads are always incomplete. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

Have you tried *not* having the phone and camera next to each other? 802.11 often works better with some distance between transmitter and reciever.

What is your sleep timer setting in the camera?

Does the WU-1A let you assign channels? Trying another can be useful if there is a lot of traffic on the one you use.

Lots of good advice to try. If I had to pick one it would be the sleep timer setting
