Hey - New to the forum - my problem is that there are times my shutter does not work.  I can press it all the way but it does nothing.  After trying a few times it will be OK.  Usually it will stay OK as long as it in use.  Any ideas?

John

When you have a problem with your lens connection (your other issue Lens not Attached - Technical Troubleshooting - NikonForums.com ) this can cause the camera to not activate the shutter.

Possibly, even so not showing the lens error, the connection is poor and/or erronous and therefore the camera doesn’t behave as normal.

Once the lens error solved this issue might therefore disappear by itself.
