I signed up today because I have a specific question, which I'll ask in the appropriate forum.

I used to sell cameras at two different shops in Iowa back in the late '80s, when I would spend hours daydreaming about owning a Nikon F4.

About seven years ago, my wife suggested that I stop using little point-and-shoots and buy a "real camera." I was delighted, and did weeks worth of research, settling on a D7000 with a Nikkor 35mm f/1.4G.

Last year, I finally decided to go full-frame, and opted for the D850.
