It only shows a flat battery blinking like "battery is low" and nothing else shows on the display not even the number of exposures when I put the SD card... nothing!

I had this issue four months before but after few days it was working fine, until now. First I thought it was my batteries, I have two of them. So I charged them fully again and again and later I tried with another and it still not turning on.

what causes this issue?

Could it be that your battery contacts are dirty, oxidized or bend? (Both on the batteries and/or in the camera)

What camera model do you have? And since when date the batteries? Batteries will loose their capacity with time (This being a general rule, it could apply to both)
