The top two right now are the DJI Ronin-S and Zhiyun Crane 3 LAB.
The DJI is the benchmark that everyone measures themselves against so you could say it is probably the best, and from what I have seen it still is. The Crane has a unique handle that you will either love or hate. Anything else might be borderline as far as payloads go, especially once you put a fast full frame lens on there (when Nikon finally actually make truly fast mirrorless glass).

I have owned one Nikkor with a mirror, the 500/8 catadioptric lens. I have also had access to another, the 1000/6.3 catadioptric. Cats are amazing lenses with a rendition that doesn't look like anything else.

I have used a couple of different versions (non-OEM) back in the day on my Pentax...you are quite right about them! But no, I still do not have one!

When contemplating a gimbal, one should also
consider a levelling base, a must… just saying.
Usually, a column should not be used along
LEVELLING BASES
And the one I use:

Nikon Shooter, the OP asks about handheld stabilized gimbals for video use, not the gimbal heads for use on a tripod with a levelling base us old 'togs mean using the word.

I am

You're the man!
It feels like that when youngsters use the same words for something completely different.
As long as girls are girls…

Hi. I used the Moza Air 2 with my Z6 and it worked just great. I bought the filmmaker kit last year. I recently upgraded to the Z6ii and now I am having trouble using the Air 2 to start recording. It just doesn't work. Firmware is up to date on both the camera and Air 2 Gimbal. So...be ware if you have a Z6ii and want to use the Moza Air 2 gimbal assembly. The Moza Air 2 is now a paper weight. No response from Gudsen yet the maker of the Air 2. Nikon blew me off and said to check with Gudsen. So much for Nikon support even though they sold me the filmmaker kit.
